Types of Events
Drumline Battle
Drumline Battles are high-energy, head-to-head performances that showcase the skill, creativity, and intensity of marching percussion ensembles in a face-off format. In each battle, two drumlines take turns performing short, high-impact routines designed to captivate both judges and spectators. These routines highlight precision, musicality, showmanship, and originality.
Drumline Showcase
A Drumline Showcase is a non-competitive, performance-based event designed to highlight the talent, creativity, and diversity of drumlines from various schools, organizations, or communities. Unlike judged competitions, showcases provide a platform for ensembles to perform in a supportive, celebratory environment where the focus is on artistry, expression, and audience engagement.
Solo & Ensemble
Solo & Ensemble Performances provide a unique opportunity for individual musicians and small percussion groups to showcase their technical skill, musical interpretation, and expressive range in an intimate performance setting. These events highlight both personal artistry and collaborative musicianship, offering participants a platform to perform prepared works before a panel of adjudicators or a live audience.
Indoor Percussion
Indoor Percussion events are dynamic, theatrical performances that combine the precision of percussion music with the artistry of visual design—presented within an indoor arena setting. These events feature percussion ensembles performing fully choreographed shows that blend musical excellence, intricate drill, and expressive movement into a unified production.
Clinic & Masterclass
Clinics & Masterclasses are educational sessions led by experienced percussion educators, performers, or industry professionals, designed to deepen knowledge, refine technique, and inspire growth in percussion students and educators alike. These interactive events focus on a specific topic—such as rudimental technique, musical interpretation, show design, or equipment care—and often include live demonstrations, hands-on participation, and open Q&A segments.
